A barn conversion..
Cowslip Cottage is a two storey recent barn conversion and has a very spacious feel to the place. Entering via the open plan kitchen with farmhouse dining table and chairs. The lounge comfortably seats four and the patio doors to the private sun terrace takes advantage of the views to Rosewall Hill, countryside and the afternoon sun. Upstairs both bedrooms have vaulted ceilings with exposed timber beams and are very spacious. The twin bedroom has a small double and single bed and the master bedroom with a king bed. The family shower room is located on the ground floor.
A perfect place..
Cowslip Cottage is situated on a quiet farm and away from the hustle and bustle of St Ives. The most farming activity that you will notice will be the tractor cutting the hay fields once every few months over the summer. A field of local Alpacas just up the road if you would like to walk up the lane and pay them a visit.
Really nice house, very well decorated and well situated. There was a water issue our first day but it was taken care of very quickly by the hosts. We would definitely recommend staying here, and we are hoping to come back soon!
The Cowslip Cottage is a perfect place to stay while exploring St Ives and Cornwall. The living space is clean, spacious and stylish. The outside sitting area is perfect for relaxing with a beer and a book and having a bbq. The cottage is perfectly located for walking down into St Ives either by road or a more scenic route over the cliffs. The fact that this property has a car parking space is a game changer as it allows you to explore the greater area without worrying about parking in the tight streets of St Ives itself. I would highly recommend this staying here!
