Central beach location..

Upon entering Boslowen you will find some storage for boots, beach balls, buckets and Birkenstocks. Also on the ground floor is the first bedroom, with a 3/4 size double bed, original sash window and plenty of clothing storage. Up the first set of stairs to the first floor homes the spacious master bedroom. The master bedroom is a bright oasis with a comfortable kingsize bed, TV, wardrobe and drawer space and En-suite shower room with separate toilet.

Along the hall is the third bedroom which includes 2 single bunk beds, lots more clothing storage, continuing the calming seaside aesthetic of the cottage. The contemporary family bathroom is at the end of the hallway, boasting a bathtub for those relaxing summer evening soaks, shower head over the bath, toilet and sink with ring light mirror above.

The large open plan living space spans the second floor featuring wooden floors, vaulted ceilings, decorative log burner and bay window seating overlooking the historic cobbled streets below. The space flows superfluously from the kitchen that has solid granite worktops, 5-ring gas hob and double electric oven, integrated Fridge-Freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, to the dining area with bench style seating, into the living area with deep comfortable sofas, 40” Freeview TV and large bean bag. The space is flooded with natural light and the bean bag area could even double as a small stage for family charades.

An architectural spiral staircase guides you to the final mezzanine floor, home to the second living space. Nestled in the dormer window of the roof space, with incredible sea views, this cosy chill zone has an occasional day bed, wooden floors and is perfect for admiring the view with a glass of wine of an evening.

Directly underneath Boslowen is its own private parking space to the left hand side of the car port for your convenience.

A perfect place..

For those happy to stay close to St Ives, there is much to see and do with excellent coastal paths for walkers, a great choice of local beaches including Harbour Beach and Porthgwidden, a truly magical sheltered cove with golden sand and an excellent beach café, all within walking distance of Boslowen. It is a short drive to Carbis Bay, where visitors will find calm clear blue sea and a wide sandy beach. If lazing on the beach is not your style, then you can always try a boat trip, fishing, coasteering, kayaking, surfing, horse riding, golf or stroll around the many individual shops within the town.

St Ives proudly presents a wide variety of events and festivals throughout the year, including Feast Day in February, St Ives Festival of Music and Food in September, Christmas lights and festivities and the amazing New Year’s celebrations and fun-filled fancy dress street party. Beach 500 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

Reviews

We had a great stay at Boslowen. It's in a perfect location just around the corner from Porthmeor beach. The house itself is excellent. It was clean, welcoming and generally a lovely home to stay in - it felt more like a luxury pad than a holiday home with high quality fixtures and fittings. The bed was the most comfortable one I've ever slept in away from home! Being able to take our two pugs was also great. Communication was also excellent - nothing was too much trouble. Really recommend this home and hope we will be able to stay again soon!

A wonderful week in a beautiful home. The parking space was tight but that’s to be expected in St ives and it was such a bonus to have it! Didn’t in-fact move the car much, as spent the week enjoying all St Ives has to offer! We were blessed with good weather and the house was fantastically located to fall out onto the beach, go for a lovely walk along the coastal path or just sit by the harbour. A great find and we will definitely be back!

Perfect location. A great space and ideal with car port. Well equipped and useful outside space with hose when coming off the beach. V comfortable beds. The perfect place to stay if you spend a lot of time in the water on porthmeor or porthgwidden beaches - there were even a bodyboard available. Norway stores is 1 minute away for all food and provisions.

Location, Location, Location…
It doesn’t get much better than this with parking on your door step in St Ives.
The house was great with everything we needed. We had great weather but I can imagine it’s really cosy in winter too.
The beds were super comfy and the open plan living space worked really well for our family of 5 (& cockerpoo).
It was a 1 minute walk to the main harbour and Porthgwidden beach, less than 10mins to Porthminster beach and literally 10 seconds to our favourite - Porthmeor beach.
Hope to be back again soon.

This was a fabulous location close to everything in Saint Ives, we didn’t move the car at all during the week! It was great to park the car close by though, for easy arrival and departure. The house was peaceful and staying indoors was great, TV (Netflix, Prime) and wifi worked well and the kitchen had everything we needed including nutribullet for smoothies! Comfy bed as well.
Our morning routine was walking with our dog up and down Porthmeor beach which was so close that we could leave shoes at the house.
Shopping was easy at nearby Norway Store, art galleries only a stone throw away as well as cafes, restaurants and shops.
Very yummy lunch at Porthgwidden Cafe, 2mins away. Lovely cliff walks towards Zennor and also via Porthminster beach to Carbis Bay. Would definitely recommend if you’re ok with a relatively tight parking space (for a SUV) and no garden or balcony (which we didn’t miss as we were out and about on all four Saint Ives beaches and the coastal path most of the time).
