We felt very comfortable in this apartment and it had everything we needed for a week's stay. It was light and airy and had a seaside 'feel' due to the owner's careful choice of colour scheme and decoration. Waking up to views of the sea was fab! The apartment was very clean, the kitchen and bathroom modern and there was plenty of hot water and a good shower. Beds and sofas were comfy. The kitchen had a good supply of nice quality utensils for preparing a quick supper or picnic and the appliances were easy to use (which isn't always the case!). It was easy to get down to the centre of town for the restaurants, bars and shops (not quite so easy on the way back up the hill)! It was great to have a parking space so we didn't ever have to drive through the centre and, on the days we went further afield, we were well-positioned to join the major roads leading out of town. A lovely week. Thank you to Alison and Lisa.

We had a fantastic stay at Surf Break! The place was spotless, the spa experience included was brilliant and made it that extra bit special. The beds are very comfortable, the shower powerful and other amenities like the dishwasher were a great addition.

The location was perfect, just a short walk from the town centre, harbour and beach. Overall a perfect stay!

Great flat in a good location - as many people have mentioned; St Ives is hilly, it took our young family 3 minutes (yes, we timed it) to climb the two sets of steps up from the town to the flat, and from there it's a gentle slope.
Very nicely decorated and equipped flat, WITH parking AND a sea view in St Ives. Plenty to do in the town itself and much more within a 30 minute drive. Lovely!

Lucy

A lovely clean apartment situated a stones throw away from St. Ives harbour. Great hosts who leave simple, yet appreciated touches, such as milk, biscuits and teabags. They’re also extremely quick at answering any questions online. This is a perfect flat for 4 people to enjoy the seaside without any fuss. Lovely!

Georgia

We spent a lovely holiday at Surf Break and found the apartment ideal for our family holiday. The space is an ideal base for exploring not just St Ives, but cornwall. The parking space is a great addition, so no worries about finding a spot when you return from a busy day out. It's a short walk to the beaches and restaurants, but a steep climb on the way back. Though the steep climb can be a struggle its a good way to work off the dinner, alternatively the bus stops at the end of the road from outside the co-op in town.

The spa membership was a really nice touch, it's a small additional cost for the children, but they loved it and we used it every day during our stay. Its a very nice place to go and would definitely go back again.

Claire

Lovely place with stunning views across the bay. Absolutely spotless and very well equipped; everything you need for a comfortable stay has been thought of! It was perfect for us as a family of 4 (both children under 5).
Great location, 10 mins (max) walk to Porthminster Beach, 10 mins walk to the harbour and a quiet area at night when you’re ready for sleep!

Emily

We spent a week at Surf Break and throughly enjoyed ourselves. Clean apartment well equipped allocated parking and only 10 minutes walk to seafront. We would definitely return.

Darren

We had a lovely stay, the location is very convenient and close to both the town and Porthminster Beach. The flat was clean and had everything we needed. The spa passes are a nice touch. Would happily recommend to anyone.

We had a fantastic stay, the barn was bright, very comfortable and clean. The rain shower is welcoming after a day of walking in the beautiful countryside. The bed is also soft and comfortable with crisp clean cotton sheets. Kitchen had all you need for cooking if needed. St Ives is a 30 min walk it was great to be away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The barn and surrounding area was serene and so quiet.
Louise

Great house to stay. We were sad to leave after a week. Very nice location, a bit remote but we appreciate that. Made some great walks directly from the house.

Peter

What a beautiful location to stay in - so peaceful and quiet. The glass and windows in the Hay Loft really bring the nature in and it is a lovely open plan place to stay. A nice 30 min walk into St Ives but other beautiful walks local to the accommodation. Thank you for a great stay.

Note to anybody with mobility issues - the stairs are stunning but a bit of pain!

Jodi

We really enjoyed The Hay Loft! Lovely location, we took a short walk up to Rosewall hill and the view is incredible and the barn is just a 30 minute walk to St Ives. The barn has everything you need and was so clean and nicely decorated. Very easy check in and lots of information provided by Lisa! Would definitely stay here again.
Ella

Amazing property - super comfortable and well-suited for self catered holidays. Sandy Toes Stays were super responsive to requests and issues we had. The doggies loved the fields of flowers nearby!

We had a wonderful time at Rosewall Farmhouse. It exceeded all expectations and we loved every minute of our stay. The location is incredible and perfect for exploring St. Ives and beyond. The garden and surrounding area of the house is beautiful. The little balcony over looking the fields is perfect for a glass of wine and a sunset. The house is absolutely stunning - a peaceful and calming place with gorgeous decor and loads of space to relax in and entertain. We really enjoyed barbecuing in the little side garden and the kitchen was spacious and perfectly stocked with everything you need to cook great family meals. We plan to stay again 😊
Emma

Lovely house in a super location, lovely garden, very peaceful.
Catherine

Beautifully situated cottage – turn one way and you are in the wilds, and the other, in St Ives!

We found the farm to be a great place to explore the entire area – only 30 mins to the south coast or lands end, and within walking distance of all the amenities of St Ives.

The farmhouse has plenty of space to hang out, all very stylishly furnished and well equipped for a family or group stay.

Nick

This is a lovely comfortable house away from the noise of town but easily walkable or with the help of the super punctual and friendly taxi services. Lots of nice places to sit and enjoy your evening drinks watching the sunset, or the alpacas next door, and the conservatory is lovely for breakfast or dinner. House is well equipped, beds comfy, good bathrooms, and excellent communication from Sandy Toes
Ada

We had a fantastic stay with our extended family. It’s the perfect location if you want space but still be close enough to all the action of St Ives. Great place to stay with children, they were delighted with the house and garden!

It is a wonderful converted barn with lots of character and space. The location of the barn is perfect that provides you the peace and quiet for proper relaxation whilst also not being far from the hustle and bustle of St Ives. Ample space (garden and fields) for children to play football/cricket. We also loved the walks and easy access to the beaches nearby.

Monika

Fantastic home away from home in a perfect location. The house is really peaceful, not too far from St Ives (about a 30 min walk) but far enough to feel like you’re getting space and relaxation. The bbq and fluffy towels are v much appreciated, the shower in the en-suite bathroom is also great! We will definitely return.

Alice

Amazing stay, had everything and more! Beautiful location, so peaceful and very clean and tidy. Would 100% recommend. Was always happy to help and was fast to reply☺️

Sam

Lovely accommodation on the outskirts of St Ives. (Bonus being out of the chaos during August). Definitely need to book restaurants and cafes in advance of your trip in high season…
Great base for trips all over the area.
Beautiful beaches and lovely walk up on to the hill above the barns.
Everything we needed for a fantastic week away.

Louise

My family and I had an amazing time at Foxgloves cottage. The place is absolutely everything we wanted.
Spacious, clean and beautifully decorated, the cottage is well located giving us easy access to Sy Ives and other beaches, roughly 20min by car.
The cottage is equipped with everything you need and the back garden to the field was the best place to have a morning coffee and and evening glass of wine.
If I have the opportunity I will certainly come back. Thanks Lisa for this amazing place.

Vanessa

Lovely stay! Very spacious accomodation. We happened to be here when a huge storm rolled in, knocking out the internet. Because my husband was working remotely during our stay, it was important for us to get this back up and running. Lisa was incredibly responsive and worked quickly to get this resolved for us and back up and running. We truly appreciated her responsiveness to this issue! While the cottage shares a wall with another rental, and is near two other rental cottages, we did not find this to be intrusive or a noise-issue during our stay. We would happily stay here again!

Cowslip Cottage is absolutely beautiful, located in a very peaceful area, away from the bustle of St Ives. Great blend of modernity and countryside charm. St Ives is only a 10 minute drive but I would highly recommend the coastal walk into town, which is absolutely stunning. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy St Ives as well as the serenity of the countryside!
Clement

Really nice house, very well decorated and well situated. There was a water issue our first day but it was taken care of very quickly by the hosts. We would definitely recommend staying here, and we are hoping to come back soon!

Nathalie

The Cowslip Cottage is a perfect place to stay while exploring St Ives and Cornwall. The living space is clean, spacious and stylish. The outside sitting area is perfect for relaxing with a beer and a book and having a bbq. The cottage is perfectly located for walking down into St Ives either by road or a more scenic route over the cliffs. The fact that this property has a car parking space is a game changer as it allows you to explore the greater area without worrying about parking in the tight streets of St Ives itself. I would highly recommend this staying here!

James

Absolutely loved this place! Gorgeous house with modern fittings and well-maintained with huge expanse of green fields around. We stayed as a family (my wife, 1-year old and me) and he enjoyed the space and the little garden outside. Even the one minor issue that we had was immediately addressed by Lisa - who was really prompt and responsive. Would highly recommend a stay here! The only one caveat is that it is best if you have your own transport (which we did) since St. Ives city-centre, grocery stores etc are some distance away and there is little in terms of public transport. That being said, it was exactly what we wanted and will definitely miss our time here!

Shyam

My husband, 5 year old and I stayed here for 2 weeks. We cannot recommend staying here more highly! Lisa was an outstanding host, the place is spacious and homely and spotless, and is in an amazing location to explore South-West Cornwall. We loved walking up Rosehill from the house, and being less than 5 mins away by car from St Ives. Many thanks!

Neema

I would strongly recommend staying at Cowslip Cottage! We had an amazing Christmas stay, the location is perfect, if you want to re-charge you batteries! What we loved was the little touches like Christmas Tree, the fairy lights upstairs in bedrooms. Another huge plus is parking on premises, so we did not need to worry about finding parking. It’s very close to St.Ives main area (6-8min drive). Would love to stay again!
