We had a great week in Golden Sands Lower. It is a beautiful, modern space and fully equipped with all the amenities you could possibly need (including milk in the fridge and some biscuits on arrival, which were so welcome after our long journey down to Cornwall). The apartment is very comfortable, the beds especially! Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. The location is very central with the main dining / shopping area and beaches only a couple of minutes walk downhill. The parking space was an added bonus and, with it being directly in front of the property, makes its very easy for unpacking. I noticed some reviews mentioned the blind at the front - this must have been resolved as there is a curtain and blackout blind providing privacy and dark as/when required. We couldn’t recommend this highly enough and would love to stay here again in future. Thank you so much for letting us stay with you! Five stars all around.

What a great apartment to stay in for our first trip to St Ives. Excellent views due to being high up on the hill. Private parking was perfect. Sandy Toes provided all the information we needed for getting there and checking in plus lots more in the welcome manual. Really appreciated the extra touches of milk and water in the fridge and even a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. Thank you. We will definitely visit St Ives again and be sure to check availability of your apartment when we do.

Lovely place would highly recommend! Spotlessly clean, all amenities were included. Very comfortable bed with nice sheets, was very bright and airy throughout the day which we loved (not the best if you want to lie in as got bright very early in the morning!) but was so beautiful. While we were provided with something to open the blinds and window with it was still quite difficult as they are very high up in the ceiling. Perfect location - the drive to get there through the town was much easier than expected & it was just a two minute walk into the town with so much to do. The place was so homely and the perfect size for two people. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Fabulous compact apartment with views of the sea. Really quick to get to Porthmeor beach, the Tate St Ives and onto the coastal walk for exercise and beautiful scenery.
Ideal as a base for days out in St Ives and the surrounding area. Made even better by off street parking.
Sandy Toes were incredibly quick to resolve a minor issue when I couldn’t get a blind to unfurl - all sorted with speed and efficiency that didn’t impact on my holiday. Only mentioning the issue to highlight how great they were at sorting it!
Would thoroughly recommend Golden Sands Lower and hope to return again.

Moments from the harbour front..

Enter the property to the open plan living space on the ground level. The space is full of character and charm, the walls adorned with local artwork and nautical memorabilia. 2 big comfortable sofas are centred around the gas fireplace and the TV, flowing through to the dining area and kitchen. Well equipped with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere is homely and cosy in the living spaces, ready for memories to be made with the family, for those evening meals and lazy nights in front of the fire.

Down on the lower ground level is a separate entrance from the parallel Baileys lane which leads to a handy utility room and downstairs shower to wash off those sandy toes. There is also a snug area and lots of storage for surf boards and beach toys. Up on the first floor is the full family bathroom which includes a soaking tub and right next door is a second W/C for convenience. Also on this floor is the first bedroom. The bedroom is of generous size and has twin single beds, some handy storage and lots of natural light through the window which overlooks the church.

The primary bedroom spans the whole top floor with its sizeable super king bed, and dual aspect windows with incredible views across the town and out at St Ives Bay. A quaint dressing area with some seating and lots of storage sits beneath the huge dormer window, perfect for relaxing with coffee whilst gazing out at the view.

A perfect place..

Jellyfish Cottage is a centrally located, quirky cottage for families or friends up to four looking for an escape to St Ives. Close in proximity to all of the local shops, bars, restaurants and beaches. You will feel truly immersed in the hustle and bustle of all that St Ives harbour has to offer.

Jellyfish Cottage is right in the heart of St Ives, just behind the picturesque St Ives' wharf. Despite being so central, it was very peaceful with no noise from neighbours or local cafes and bars. The house is opposite a gallery in an old church. The house itself is as it appears on the website and in general good repair.
The kitchen is reasonably equipped but on the small side (for anyone wanting to cook a lot). There is fridge in the main kitchen and one downstairs that also has a small ice compartment.
Bedroom was fine - bed on the soft side. Again, very peaceful and quite.
There was a gas fire in the living room which, if needed, adds some cosiness.
Check in and out was easy.
I would wholeheartedly recommend.

The cottage is centrally located yet quietly located. Prima to be in a few minutes walk to the beaches, bakers and shopping and the galleries and the Tate. In the house there is everything you need and it is lovingly decorated with friendly details. The initial equipment with loo paper, dishwasher, garbage bags , salt & pepper, etc. was also great. We felt very comfortable. Thank you very much for everything - we would be happy to come back.

We spent a week at the Jellyfish cottage with our 2 children (aged 2 and 5).
We had a lovely stay. The cottage is ideally situated in the centre of St Ives. All the attractions of St Ives and especially the beaches are within easy walking distance which was great with the children.
It is comfortable, well equipped and corresponds well to the photos.
The only downside is that the cottage is on 4 floors, with steep stairs, which can be problematic with young children.
But all in all we had a really good week !

Perfect for 2..

Greeted by a spacious entrance porch offering plenty of space for your boots and beach gear, the property opens into the very spacious, open plan living space which is flooded with natural light through dual aspect windows with views of the town.

There are 2 large comfortable sofas centred around the coffee table, facing the wall mounted TV, which flow into the kitchen/ dining area. Extendable to accommodate up to 4, the dining table is adequate for any feast. The kitchen is quaint but well equipped with electric oven and hob, under counter fridge, microwave, toaster and plenty of storage.

In the generously sized bedroom is a double sized bed, some hanging space for clothing and some further storage space in the drawers. There is a wall mounted TV in the bedroom for those lazy Sundays. At the end of the apartment is the shower room which features a double shower cubicle, toilet, sink, storage and the washing machine.

A perfect place..

Upper Deck is ideal for couples or friends, conveniently located a few minutes walk from all the amenities of the town and the beaches.

We had a great week at Upper Deck. The apartment was ideally located for us, just a few minutes walk to the centre and the beaches of St Ives.
It was all very clean and new inside, very airy and bright with lots of light coming through the big windows. The kitchen was well equipped, TVs are Smart TVs. There's no real outside space but the quirky spot of the apartment on the upper floor with some steep stairs leading up to it creates a small private landing in front of the porch where you can sit down on a low wall to enjoy a coffee in the morning or so.
Host Lisa was very friendly and responsive throughout our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Upper Deck for 10 days. The flat is quiet and private and just 10 mins away from the main streets and beaches. Although it is in a hilly place,it’s still walkable even with a child. The flat itself is tidy and modern. All the cooking pans and utensils are still new. Bright & airy with lots of natural light coming from the windows. Me & my family felt at home. Lisa and the Sandy Toes team is also very responsive to messages and helpful with our request.

Porthmeor hill..

The open-plan living/ dining room are flooded with natural light through the huge south facing windows overlooking the front garden. The dining table comfortably accommodates 4-6 people for family dinners or morning coffees in the sun. Flowing through to the living room area which has 2 generously sized sofas centred around the TV, the walls adorned with local abstract artwork. A wall of glass tiles separates the living areas from the kitchen which is galley style. It is well equipped with integrated appliances, coffee percolator, electric hob and modern Belfast style sink.

At the rear of the apartment are the 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double size bed, dressing table area and sizeable built in wardrobes fit for a whole families worth of luggage. Views of The Island and Porthmeor Beach are visible out the window. There is a stylish en suite shower room off the first bedroom with double shower unit and monochromatic colour palette. The second bedroom has a king size bed, plenty of clothing storage and an en suite bathroom in the same contemporary style and a full soaking tub. 

Porthmeor Hill Post also includes a generous, walled front garden with outdoor seating and patio, surrounded by neighbouring shrubs and palm trees, ideal for alfresco summer meals.

A perfect place..

The outside area is a lovely little space, with furniture to spend time soaking up the sun, with a good book and glass of wine, whilst the fully equipped kitchen is perfect for those guests wanting to create some tasty meals; using local, organic, produce that can conveniently be bought from the neighbouring Ayr Stores.

Porthmeor Hill Post is located just a 5 minute walk away from Porthmeor beach. One of only eight beaches in Cornwall that hold the prestigious Blue Flag Award 2022, given in recognition of water quality, safety, facilities, environmental management and education. Situated in the shadow of the iconic Tate St Ives gallery, Porthmeor is a sandy, safe beach, popular with surfers and swimmers alike.

We recently had a wonderful stay in Porthmeor. The property was situated in the perfect location, just a short walk to the beaches, restaurants and bustling centre of St Ives. We felt completely welcomed, taken care of and at home from the moment we arrived until our departure. The property itself was pristine and beautifully appointed with really beautiful, personal welcoming touches. We really hope to return soon.

Sandy Toes were extremely responsive and gave us great recommendations for St. Ives. The flat is perfectly placed on top of a hill, with the beach on one side and the town on the other. Parking was simple, organized by Lisa for a small fee, and only a 10 minute walk from the flat. Overall the place was lovely, clean, and well positioned!

We had a lovely stay and it felt really nice in the apartment. We had everything we needed and it was so comfortable . The bed was so comfortable and the linen was lovely.
The beaches are all close by and lovely restaurants/bars and shops on the doorstep. It’s situated at the top of the steep hill but we were fine with the extra little power walk at the end of the day.
Lisa was great and very quick to reply with any enquiries I had.
We had a lovely holiday and I would definitely stay there again. ❤️

Minutes from Carbis Bay beach..

Exit the elevator and enter Amour, greeted by a spacious entrance hall with a utility room accommodate all your coats, wetsuits and beach gear. The apartment flows through to the open plan living/kitchen/dining space, flooded with light through the floor to ceiling sliding glass doors. Doors from both bedrooms and living space provide access to the large private patio which has plenty of outdoor seating.

The kitchen is sleek and modern with integrated appliances and a social layout, designed for entertaining. Enjoy a glass of bubbly at the breakfast bar whilst dinner is being prepared. There is also a more formal dining area in here for family dinners. The lounge space includes a large L shaped comfortable sofa facing the Smart TV equipped with Sky Channels.

The first bedroom is the primary suite, boasting Parisian style furniture including a King size bed, matching wardrobes and drawers, dressing table and sliding glass doors leading to the roof terrace. The primary bedroom also has its own en suite shower room which has been finished to an exceptionally high standard. A few minutes walk down from Amour leads you down to Carbis Bay beach. Carbis Bay beach is one of the best family beaches with most needed facilities on the beachfront. A range of ocean based activities may be taken at The Ocean Sports Centre on Carbis Bay beach. 

With St Ives just a 20 minute walk away or a short branch line train ride away accessed a few moments from the property. Explore St Ives which is full of wonderful galleries, restaurants, cafes, shops and beaches. With its narrow cobbled streets and fisherman's cottages.

To start Lisa was fantastic with any questions I had prior to coming to the apartments. The apartment is finished to a very high standard. Really easy to get into and in the summer it would be fantastic having a drink on the balcony. The car park is very secure with an electric gate. The apartment is in a beautiful location with a 10 minutes down hill walk to an amazing Sandy beach. Coming up the hill will certainly walk off your lunch but it’s a small price to pay for one of the most beautiful beaches I personally have been on in the uk. With a train that goes into St Ives which again is a 8-10 minute walk away that still works in the evening, the location is perfect for a couple or a family with or without a dog. I would 100% recommend this apartment. We will be back again for sure.

Beautiful apartment. Pristine clean. Furnishings were of a high standard. Very quiet apartment. Love that it’s not overlooked. Great storage. The utility room was large. Loved that you could borrow wind breaks and other beach equipment if required. Plenty of hangers in the wardrobe and drawer space .
Great location for walking and also the option of a bus stop just outside or a 10 min walk down to the train station .. about 5 mins by train into St Ives.
Personally we loved Carbis Bay. Much more relaxed and tranquil than St Ives.

We had the best few days away and this was mainly due to the fantastic location of Amour. Having the most beautiful, well equipped home from home helped make our trip that little more enjoyable.

Amour was a clean, presentable apartment, with a large patio area. Being pet friendly and travelling with our 3year old meant we could make use of every bit of sunshine & outside play together.

Amour was very conveniently less than 5minute drive from Carbis Bay and on the days we were lucky and had some glorious sunshine around a 10minute walk (with toddler and small dog). We have recommend to all our friends and family and will no doubt be back again soon!
