The Cottage is absolutely fantastic.
Me and my partner stayed for a week.
Obviously lots of space as there were only the two of us.
Would he just as good if you’d filled the place with 5 people.
The upstairs bedroom view is epic. Absolute joy waking up and having a cup of tea at the table with the view of the harbour.
I would highly recommend this cottage and Lisa was super responsive and very helpful.
Thank you!

Russell

Lovely cottage with great sea view of the bay from the attic room. Location is fantastic, close to cafes and restaurants, right at the heart of st Ives. Lisa was very friendly and responsive. Wonderful experience, 100% recommend!

Cat

End House was fab. A lovely 3 level house just one street back off the main harbour so really handy for all the shops and restaurants but still nice and quiet. The apartment is compact and we had to mind our heads on the stairs a little, as we are tall but the space is wonderfully designed and cosy and the view from the top bedroom across the harbour is so worth it. ❤️ Loved the underfloor heating too and the basics like oil, condiments and some milk and biscuits were there for our arrival which was nice. Lisa was always really quick to reply to any query’s we had. We’ll definitely be back!

Carolann

Beautiful house with stunning views of St Ives Harbour.. Sandy Toes were really helpful and provided information on local events. Will definitely recommend to friends and family as a perfect place to stay.

Laura

Such a fantastic week despite changeable weather. The place is spacious enough that you can hibernate comfortably when the weather isn’t behaving. Very convenient to get to the shops, bars & restaurants.

Lovely stay at Margot's Retreat:
High standard of cleanliness in property and very spacious. Underfloor heating in property is very efficient and easy to control as thermostats in each room. Great to have two identical king sized bedrooms at front of property with en-suite bathrooms, and the beds are very comfy. Good location with easy 15 minute walk into St Ives with a great range of restaurants, useful to have a torch if returning in the evening as for a small part of the walk there is no pavement. Kitchen has great range of appliances and kitchen equipment. The garden is fully enclosed at front and rear so perfect for a dog. Would not hesitate in recommending this property. Thank you for excellent communication and exceptional standard of cleanliness.
Elaine & Steve

What a lovely stay in a beautiful location. Me, my family and the doggo had a lovely time, the home had everything we could need. All the bits you could need to make our stay comfortable. We cannot wait to return again... Thank you.

Stacey

Great stay at Margot's. Loved having an easy place to park as st ives had car parks then walk to the destination. Drive to town was only 5 minutes and it was nice to have a large space that wasn’t crowded to go back to in the evening. The front yard was a lovely space to do activities and eat when we had nice weather. Comfy beds and room for the whole family. It is noted in the amenities that there is only hand soap included but remember to bring your own toiletries! We loved cooking in the kitchen and having an open space to dine and lounge on the sofa for movies in the evening. Thanks!

Jessica

A very nice house. Perfectly equipped with everything you need and also makes living pleasant.

The accommodation is very well maintained and clean. The terrace and outdoor area are tastefully and functionally landscaped. We would have loved to stay forever 😊.

The place is even more beautiful than you can see in the pictures.
The contact with Lisa was very nice and unproblematic.

Thank you for the wonderful time!!!

Pia

A great property that was homely and welcoming. Worth using the local bus service if you have little ones with you; buses are reliable. A great location in a beautiful area. Look forward to coming back in the future.

Ross

Margot's was every bit as lovely as the photos. It was in a rural setting with great walks on the doorstep and was beautifully furnished and comfortable. The house really suited our needs. Lisa was very responsive when questions were raised.

We had an amazing stay (helped by glorious weather).
The location could not be better with the beach minutes in one direction and the harbour minutes in the other. St Ives has so many amazing places to eat all within a 5 minute walk. And the local shop was very local!
The house is exactly as described and very clean when we arrived.
The beds were comfy and the space ideal for our family of 4 (2 kids aged 9 and 12). We especially appreciated the courtyard garden which was secure, and that we could access without going through the house. It had patio furniture for eating lunch outside, a useful washing line and even a hot water hose which was fantastic for rinsing sandy feet.
It really was a fantastic stay. And when our van (parked up at the Rugby club) wouldn’t start on our leaving day, the managing company were so helpful. They ferried us and all our stuff up to the Rugby Club for us to await the AA man, on what seemed to be a very busy changeover day. Thank you so much!

Claire

Number Ten is an immaculately presented cottage right in the centre of old St Ives within easy reach of the beaches and shops. The courtyard to the rear is a super bonus and is peaceful private and quiet, most unusual for a property in this location.
Lisa and the team are a pleasure to deal with and we have no hesitation in recommending the cottage! We will certainly visit again!

John

An absolute gem of a place. I have stayed in many properties in st ives and this stood out for the following: a rare outside area in the heart of the harbour: such a bonus when you have dogs; lobby area: again perfect to dry off sandy dogs and leave wet suits; walls adorned with the beautiful artwork of alexandra dickens: a real treat. In additon, so comfortably equipped and furnished with style. Lots of space as well. 100 %

Kate

Thank you for such an amazing stay. This property is in the perfect location within St Ives and even being so close to the Harbour/restaurants etc it still remained quiet and peaceful in the evenings. Lisa was a great host, incredibly responsive when messaging and even left us a card and bottle to congratulate us on our wedding. 5 stars!!

James

The location is amazing and the house very clean and well equipped. The courtyard, and warm outside tap, were perfect for cleaning off after a trip to the beach. We loved staying and hope to come back. Lisa was prompt in communication and was very helpful.

Jonathan

Great place to stay, Well equipped, perfectly located in The heart of St Ives. Very Nice to have The backyard, sunny from Morning to evening. So many things to do in St Ives as well, Great restaurants and shops. But best of all: The beaches and the scenery, truly breathtaking!

Kristine

Number Ten is great! Just a stone’s throw from the centre and the beach, you have access to all St Ives with just a few steps.
The apartment is spacious and clean, well fitted for a family. We particularly loved the external patio for our meals 😍

A great little apartment centrally located for all the amenities of town and the beaches. The kids loved the extensive collection of dvd's too. With the additional benefit of private parking close by (which can be hard to find in St Ives).

John

My mum has struggled with hills since her stroke in December. Whilst her recovery is extraordinary, she’s not quite the same. So finding a cottage, as sweet as this, with all we needed, plus close parking space with a moderate incline was going to be a difficult ask. But we found it, right here! 5 mins walk into Fore Street, close to all beaches & by using maps on my phone , found moderate walking directions. Inside, the cottage is spotless, beautifully furnished with absolutely everything you require. Might be a little tight with 4 adults though room enough for 2 adults & 2 children. Response time with Serena & Lisa has always been quick & friendly. I would 100% book with them again. A couple of things to point out: the cottage doesn’t have any outdoor space (we knew before booking) and the front door is shared with a flat beneath the cottage. It always felt secure & we didn’t hear a thing from our downstairs neighbours. All in all I score 9.5/10 for our stay.

Alison

We had a lovely stay, the house was decorated in a lovely nautical theme throughout. It was close to the town and the beach and the kitchen was well equipped. The added bonus of underground parking meant that the seagulls were not able to use the car as target practise.

David

A beautiful little cottage in the perfect location in St Ives - just a 5 minute walk into the harbour. The cottage was very well equipped and had lovely seaside decor! Having the underground parking space was an absolute bonus too as parking can be tricky in St Ives.
We loved our stay and would definitely come back - thank you 💕

Adam

Sandy Cove Cottage was fabulous. Great location, everything was available to ensure it felt like home. Parking at the end of the road was a real bonus. Would definitely try and rebook when we’re back next year.

Ian

The cottage is in a really great location, close to everything but in a quiet street. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, and there were loads of games and dvds etc for rainy days. Everything was immaculate and comfortable, definitely would stay here again.

We had a great stay at Boslowen. It's in a perfect location just around the corner from Porthmeor beach. The house itself is excellent. It was clean, welcoming and generally a lovely home to stay in - it felt more like a luxury pad than a holiday home with high quality fixtures and fittings. The bed was the most comfortable one I've ever slept in away from home! Being able to take our two pugs was also great. Communication was also excellent - nothing was too much trouble. Really recommend this home and hope we will be able to stay again soon!

Sarah

A wonderful week in a beautiful home. The parking space was tight but that’s to be expected in St ives and it was such a bonus to have it! Didn’t in-fact move the car much, as spent the week enjoying all St Ives has to offer! We were blessed with good weather and the house was fantastically located to fall out onto the beach, go for a lovely walk along the coastal path or just sit by the harbour. A great find and we will definitely be back!

Louise

Perfect location. A great space and ideal with car port. Well equipped and useful outside space with hose when coming off the beach. V comfortable beds. The perfect place to stay if you spend a lot of time in the water on porthmeor or porthgwidden beaches - there were even a bodyboard available. Norway stores is 1 minute away for all food and provisions.

Thomas

Location, Location, Location…
It doesn’t get much better than this with parking on your door step in St Ives.
The house was great with everything we needed. We had great weather but I can imagine it’s really cosy in winter too.
The beds were super comfy and the open plan living space worked really well for our family of 5 (& cockerpoo).
It was a 1 minute walk to the main harbour and Porthgwidden beach, less than 10mins to Porthminster beach and literally 10 seconds to our favourite - Porthmeor beach.
Hope to be back again soon.

Gary

This was a fabulous location close to everything in Saint Ives, we didn’t move the car at all during the week! It was great to park the car close by though, for easy arrival and departure. The house was peaceful and staying indoors was great, TV (Netflix, Prime) and wifi worked well and the kitchen had everything we needed including nutribullet for smoothies! Comfy bed as well.
Our morning routine was walking with our dog up and down Porthmeor beach which was so close that we could leave shoes at the house.
Shopping was easy at nearby Norway Store, art galleries only a stone throw away as well as cafes, restaurants and shops.
Very yummy lunch at Porthgwidden Cafe, 2mins away. Lovely cliff walks towards Zennor and also via Porthminster beach to Carbis Bay. Would definitely recommend if you’re ok with a relatively tight parking space (for a SUV) and no garden or balcony (which we didn’t miss as we were out and about on all four Saint Ives beaches and the coastal path most of the time).
